From September 4th to 8th, the annual NordBau, Northern Europe’s largest compact construction trade show, took place in the Holstenhallen in Neumünster – and we were there! Over 850 exhibitors showcased powerful construction machinery and commercial vehicles, modern building materials, and everything that drives the construction industry. With our stand in the southern outdoor area, we proudly presented our company and our services for construction machinery spare parts to a wide audience.
The Start of Our Trade Show Journey
On the first day, we took some time to get our bearings – gathering new impressions, getting to know our neighboring exhibitors, and familiarizing ourselves with the flow of the event. We quickly settled into the lively atmosphere and had the opportunity to engage in the first interesting and promising conversations. As “trade show newbies,” we faced a few minor challenges at the beginning, but thanks to the friendly and helpful exhibitor community and event management, these were quickly overcome.
Each Day Brought New Opportunities
In the days that followed, we continued to build valuable connections, raised awareness of our company, and enthusiastically distributed our popular giveaways – large “construction vehicle” stickers, Divinol multi-oil, and of course, pens – to interested visitors and those who were about to become interested. We were particularly pleased to welcome new subscribers to our WhatsApp channel – a direct line to exciting promotions and exclusive offers. The team spirit was fantastic, and despite the hard work and warm weather, we had a lot of fun. The days at NordBau were not only an intense experience for us but also a complete success, as we were able to welcome several new companies to our client base.
Positive Outcome and Looking Ahead
Looking back, NordBau 2024 was an exciting, exhausting, but above all, successful debut in the trade show business. Now, in the aftermath, we are evaluating our experiences and drawing our lessons – because at the end of October, the next event awaits us: the Parts & Service World in Kassel… we’re on our way to becoming real trade show pros 😄
